Chapter 2 of this user guide will familiarize you with the features and functionality of the CloseBy Network web application Home page. When you log into your Care Network, you are on the Home page tab. The following details the features and functionality that you will see on the Home page of the CloseBy Network web application:
At a glance, the Total Activity Graph is used to give you a quick view into the activities of your loved one. The Total Activity Graph, located at the bottom of the Home page, shows the current 24-hour period of all CloseBy Network events (see below for a sample graph). The vertical line marks the current time. When time progresses throughout the day, this vertical line marches from left to right across the screen.
As the vertical line moves across the screen, it overwrites older data from the previous 24-hour period. The graph displays a fixed 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. time period to help you see a consistent pattern of activity from day to day. In the example below, the chart displays CloseBy Network activity from “Today” until 3 p.m. and activity from “Yesterday” starting at 3 p.m. The Total Activity Graph can help you see if your Care Recipient’s activity is normal.
For instance, you can see at a glance if events are happening at expected times. During the day, activity is expected while at night the activity should stop or be intermittent. The Total Activity Graph can help you identify any activity outside of the normal patterns, for example, getting up multiple times at night.

The CloseBy Network monitors the system constantly. On the Home page (the screen you see when you first log in), you can view current sensor status, recent activity, and total activity. You control how often the Home page refreshes to show sensors’ statuses throughout the network. To manage how often the Home page refreshes, complete the following steps.
